How do you deal with writer’s block?
C.G. Lang I meditate, dance, do qi gong and tai chi.

I look at photos.

I listen to specific music for focus and creativity by composers like Steven Halpern, Mozart and other Baroque composers.

I listen to music that draw out pain, discomfort, nostalgia, fantasies.

I place my crystals beside my laptop: lapis lazuli, clear quartz, tiger's eye, sodalite, kyanite, aquamarine, selenite.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
C.G. Lang Breathe. Relax. Sit down.
Say your ideas out loud and write what you're saying. The fact that you are pronouncing words forces you to make sense, whereas in your head, it's just a jumble of ideas.

How do you get inspired to write?
C.G. Lang Love. Writing is one way that I know to reach out to as many souls as I can. It's how I know how to say "I love your being" to as many people as I can.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
C.G. Lang My ideas came from walks down memory lane with family and friends. Every heart is full of memories. Alan Watts said that knowledge is made up of memories. Other ideas are based on the ever-changing lens from which I view experiences.
