How I ended up on the beach of Tijuana, in the back of a pick-up truck, in 1988, with no passport and no memory of how I got there as I'd been in Las Vegas the previous night.

It's my personal one. Me, on stage, with a spotlight on my face!

'A Wing and a Prayer' came about because I'd been watching a documentary on Spitfire Women and I'd been encouraged by author friends to try my hand at something new. I'd always loved history and no sooner had the thought come to my mind, than I'd started an outline and sketched out some characters.

I've always loved reading and so, I suppose, it's a natural progression to trying my hand at writing. It just seemed to take a while to come out! A lot of my inspiration comes from listening to the radio and listening to songs that spark an idea for a story. I now only need to clone myself.

Book 3 of the Broken Wings series. Book 2 is with my editor and this is the Christmas one. This is turning out to be a lot of fun, all the research makes me want to perhaps have a WW2 Christmas.

Panic? Sometimes I try and write through it, though more often than not, I'll put on a film I love, or the Smile album by Brian Wilson. Very inspirational, to me.

Discworld! Without a doubt. I may write WW2 saga's, but I sorely miss Terry Pratchett.

Oh, where do I start? I'm currently reading Phillipa Ashley's, A Surprise Christmas Wedding, recently finished Elaine Everest's superb Christmas for the Teashop Girls and the wonderful Sue Moorcroft's, Christmas Wishes! I guess this really should be what's on my Winter reading list. Christmas for Beginners by Carole Matthews. I never miss any of these authors! So I'd recommend all of these authors.
