Jonathan Pongratz Since I love all things paranormal, I'd love to see shadow people or my other personal encounters with all things bizarre explored in a plot for a book.
Jonathan Pongratz Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. I'd love to be one of the gang!
Jonathan Pongratz My mood changes pretty quickly from month to month, so maybe something both scary and seasonal? A murderous trip to the lake, or maybe a trip to an abandoned theme park with an evil spirit. Anything like that will automatically get read this summer.

Jonathan Pongratz Devote time to your craft. It doesn't have to be every day, but when I was starting out, the only way I progressed was from never-ending persistence. Let your passion drive you.
Jonathan Pongratz I get inspired from a number of sources. Ambient music, tv, movies, books. Sometimes the inspiration comes to me without any of those things influencing me.
Jonathan Pongratz Sometimes when I fixate a little too much on one of my stories, I'll get writer's block. When that happens, I switch to work on something else. I have a plethora of undeveloped stories that are just aching to become a reality.

If that doesn't work, I listen to a lot of ambient music or go out and do something new.
Jonathan Pongratz My favorite part about being a writer is the bursts of inspiration you get with a new story. Thoughts and images will just flood into your head, and it truly gives you a great rush to know that these ideas just come to you, almost magically.

Jonathan Pongratz Right now I am working on four more novellas, one of which I hope to publish in the early fall.
Jonathan Pongratz I started writing Reaper around Halloween time in 2018. I've always been greatly inspired by horror, thrillers, and suspense, and this idea started forming in my head when I was binge-watching some horror movies. Wouldn't have it any other way!
