Don't aspire to write a book. I hear from people all the time, "I'm trying to write a book..." The problem is, people who try to write a book never actually WRITE a book because they're so wrapped up in trying. I never "aspired" to write a book. From the moment the idea came to me, being a best-selling authorr was a certainty rather than an aspiration. My advice? Stop trying. Stop aspiring. Go write your book.

The inspiration for this book came to me through meditation. Like Elizabeth Gilbert talks about in Big Magic, Permission to Leap came to me asking to be written. I had always assumed I would write a book at some point, but it was not on my radar to write as early as 2017. I'm glad I followed the inspiration and said yes to the idea which came to me.
