“I love writing horror/fantasy. My aim is to release a book every three months or so. I'm always willing to consider subjects I can add a twist to and put my own slant on.”

Survival simply meant not dying before the guy next to me ran out of blood. The ghost hunt had began and the clock was ticking, they were coming and I had no escape.

I don't get writers block. I've heard it exists. For better or for worse my head is always overloaded with ideas. My books often move along at quite a phonetic pace. I wonder sometimes if I move too quickly. I'm always worried my readers will get bored if I don't keep the action moving. I suspect I've watched too many action movies whilst growing up.

I love being able to put pen to paper and being able to create something which others enjoy reading as much as I've enjoyed writing. It may sound sad but I still get excited when the postman calls with my latest book, and I get to see the shiny cover and hold it in my hand for the first time. E-books are great but I still love the feel and smell of a physical book. Seeing my name on the cover is still a surreal moment for me. No other profession can give you the same feeling.

My advice to anybody who aspires to be a writer is simply to write about subjects you are passionate about and do your best to tell a story your readers can relate to. Always remember writing is very subjective. Some readers will love everything you write, whilst others will not get it at all. Even the greats like Stephen King can't please everyone.

I'm currently writing a story which primarily takes place on a haunted ghost ship. I've had to research ships, so hopefully I've got my nautical terms correct. In addition I've added some Flat Earth Theory to the mix which should hopefully get a few readers asking, "Is the Earth really a globe?"

I'm fascinated by human behaviour. We are all so different and yet in other ways so similar. Each of us contains the good and the bad. The only difference is balance and which quality leads. I see or hear about events happening all over the world and often from the smallest nugget of information a story is born.

My latest book Divided In Time stems from a conversation I had with a lady friend who had tried out a few internet dating sites. Often she would meet people, only to discover their photo's were ten years old and had expanded in size, rarely meeting her expectations. Divided In Time takes the unexpected to an extreme and will probably put you off dating sites forever.
