Randy Niederman You are not who you think you are. And the real you is dying and being re-born moment by moment.
Randy Niederman It seems most of the books I read have characters in difficult worlds. So if I went to a fictional world, it would be someplace dangerous, that requires struggle. On the other hand, at least it would be nice if it was beuatiful. For this reason, I choose the Old West, some place in a Louis L'amour novel.
Randy Niederman Zen Body Being, by Peter Ralston. I read one of his books about 15 yrs ago and didn't get much out of it. I was a second level black belt teaching Aikido at the time. The principles in the book were too abstract for me at the time. Now I totally see how using these principles brings effortless power. More importantly, Ralston has taught me to transcend thinking in terms of fighting, and instead see matial art as relational movement.
