Andrea Lightfoot I'd go into Frances Hodgson Burnett's Secret Garden, and explore.
Andrea Lightfoot There was nowhere left to run. There was nowhere left to hide.
Andrea Lightfoot I'm now doing another giveaway - same book, but it is the turn of my fellow Brits who could be getting a signed copy of my fantasy tome
Andrea Lightfoot I haven't got a planned list as such, but as many books by as many authors as possible and hopefully as many genres as possible will do me
Andrea Lightfoot It doesn't sound like much, but a few weeks ago I was going for a walk, not that far from where I live, when I came across what I can only describe as a small pathway which I had never seen before. It was only small, but I think it's the kind that can get imaginations going
Andrea Lightfoot When I was younger, it would have been Mr and Mrs Twit, from Roald Dahl's book, the Twits. Not because they were a lovely couple - far from it. But the tricks they would play on each other were quite amusing to read about. Could you imagine it if there were couples like that in real life?

But, since I was introduced to Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, then it would have to be Jane and Mr Rochester. That is true love and dedication.
At first, when they marry, the service is brought to a sudden halt as someone bursts in and reveals that Mr Rochester is already married to someone who is still living, but after Jane returns to Mr Rochester's home, after having left for a while, a fire has decimated the building and left Mr Rochester blind, and his wife dead. (She jumped to her death).
What I liked about this was that after so long, Jane eventually agreed to marry him, and showed that his being blind could not get in the way of their love.
Andrea Lightfoot By something giving me an idea (I get ideas from all sorts of places and situations) and having the motivation to create a piece of work.
Andrea Lightfoot A lot of things I'm just writing for fun - but I do have plans for a poetry book in the future
Andrea Lightfoot I tend to leave the "project" I'm working on then come back to it some other time. It's the same with puzzles - I find that if I have a break, then go back to it, an answer comes to me
Andrea Lightfoot Having a wonderful imagination and the confidence to show it off
Andrea Lightfoot Fantastica- Surreal Prose & Poetry started out as just a collection of creative work I had done over time. People suggested that I would be best bringing them all together in one way, so I decided to have Fantastica as a place that's the nearest to Fairyland, and base what I had written around that
