The first thing you notice when you start to read this new book of the author is his love of Salsa dancing. His in depth look at this exotic and very sensual dance that brought all the characters of the story together in New York City.

This is the first novel I've read by Johnny Ray and I intend to read other things he has written. I thoroughly enjoyed The Salsa Connection which is a mix of mystery, salsa dancing, suspense and there is a little romance. The settings are Russia, New York City, Louisiana, and Italy.
