this is why i don’t read books with muslims as the main characters even if the author is muslim. like… it’s always bad rep where she takes of her hijab at any inconvenience and stuff

i had the same issue with a very large expanse of sea 😭

@tasneem, the fmc didn’t take off her hijab (surprisingly) but she did something worse-
