I loved this novel even more than Gilead and Home and that is saying something because they are two books I absolutely adore. I felt as if Lila emerged out of the shadows and I grew to love her just as Ames did. As he said " I've always known you!" So wonderful to have her as central character. Dare I hope for another Gilead novel?
