i remember the who thing about the game, but why specifically 52 and blue? (was it something to do with her dress or am I just misremembering?)
I just took it as a football reference, a generic play that the quarterback would call. As a long time football fan, I took it at face value and nothing more. Just a call and answer.
Kimm this threw me also. I reread the last chapter and went back to the beginning to try to figure it out. It was confusing because M specifically says something at the end about NOT saying it.
