I just love her and this speech, the first 10 minutes of it anyway, BUT if anyone can find the rest of the speech, please post a link! Thanks!
Click on the video above, and you should get to the video on YouTube. Part 2 is the first related video in the list on the right.
Wow. I am such a fan, and yet, I had no idea that she had made a speech at Harvard. I should have realized before. It's amazing, her job in her early twenties...Anyways, that little bar with the links to different videos came up after i was over, you should be able to watch the next part. Toodles!

Aww! I wanted to go so bad-- My mom was invited cause it was her 40th reunion that year and two of my cousins were graduating. And my grandmother and everyone went and they all said she was THE MOST AMAZING speaker ever and they all wish i'd been there. (Bet they don't wish it as much as me...) She's so amazing! Her story and everything she'd been through- it's must be such a huge thing to go from one extreme to another and think it over and realize its all because the children and even adults out there are all reading your book and worshiping your stories. She's really changed the way children see reading, or at least the way I see it.Ah well, maybe I'll see her another day... I've got plenty of my life ahead of me to meet my favorite author in the world or at least hear her speak. :)
So leisure--the way she delivers the speech! When she talked about her early years I'm clear it was not as easy. It's hard to imagine specially for those successful. Stimulating,and...She's unexpectedly fun-loving*-*
Yeah, Class of 2008!!! Thanks for the inspirational speech! Pressure from parents, poverty, & failure is so hard, but I'm glad you climbed out of it & so can us!
She is definitely fantastic! Her speech is so awesome and funny – just like the Harry Potter Series!
The speech was a very good one, indeed...and funny. Quite inspirational...I'm impressed. Good job, J.K. Rowling
