In a culture where being social and outgoing are prized above all else, it can be difficult, even shameful, to be an introvert. But, as Susan Cain argues in this passionate talk, introverts bring extraordinary talents and abilities to the world, and should be encouraged and celebrated.

As an INFJ: This is a great talk!

J.D. This is such a wonderful video. I grew up surrounded by extroverts who constantly insisted that my way of doing things, as an introvert, was wrong in every conceivable way. I don't know why they had such a problem with it, but they were pretty relentless. After that experience, it's really wonderful to hear somebody say that not only is being introverted just fine, but that in certain cases, it's even better than the alternative. Thank you for this. It means a lot to me to hear.
