Those were exactly the same two women I would have chosen.

message 19: by Cathie

Cathie Can't wait to see it! Was reluctant to admit that Heigl could pull off the role, but I think she's gonna do it! Yeah!!!! Can't wait!

message 20: by K.

K. Denyer I've been waiting....will be there on opening day!!!! Can't wait to see RANGER!!!

message 21: by Jana

Jana Grandma Mazur is so young! I imagined her to be in her 80s or 90s. The "Ranger"-choice I can totally live with but Morelli? No no no, not sexy at all.
Stephanie is so awkward all the time, so not the Heigl-type. But well I'll judge after the movie.

message 22: by Tammy

Ceanne I wish I could get excited about the ,ovie, but because Heigl is playing Stephanie I won't see it....too bad, one of my favorite books of all time.

message 26: by Bess

Bess Auer Love, love, love the books! Not sure about the actors playing Ranger or Morelli. The Rock would have been the Ranger... still looking for a good Morelli. Still excited for the movie, though!

Ohhh ya the rock as the Ranger, that would have been so hot!!

Biblophile So not the people I would have liked to see as the characters. Won't waste my time.

message 30: by David

David This movie looks so awesome!

message 31: by Hayden

Hayden Jones I'm sorry to say... While I love the books, this movie was really disappointing. If you don't even care enough about the book enough to get 53' Buick, then why make it? Terrible dialogue and boring direction makes this film close to unwatchable.

message 32: by Abiola

Abiola Onikoyi The movie is a blast, I love the combo, the romance and the action pack was hilarious.

message 33: by Melissa

Melissa Hayden wrote: "I'm sorry to say... While I love the books, this movie was really disappointing. If you don't even care enough about the book enough to get 53' Buick, then why make it? Terrible dialogue and boring..."
Agreed! Movie was terrrrrrrible! So disappointing.

message 34: by Misty

Misty Testin this movie was a huge disappointment compared to the books. Not a fan of the movie at all!!!

message 35: by Kate

Kate I agree with everyone else. I love the books but the movie was terrible. The actors chosen were not good fits. The only one I appreciated was Lulu's character. The dialogue was stiff and just bad... It could have been such a hit if it was done correctly! I actually think that They should make a show using the books. If done well I think it would be awesome!

message 36: by Meghan

Meghan O'Connor I actually liked the movie, I just got it on Netflix. I was skeptical on starting out because the actor who played Morelli, IMHO, doesn't look anything like what the author describes. he definitely got the attitude down decently, and Debbie Reynolds was adorable as Grandma Mazur. I think if it were to become a trilogy, the characters could develop more. There was a lot of expectations people put on the film. The action was good, and Rex is cute! I did like Lula. I also liked that they toned down Lula's attack in the film, it fit better in the way the movie was presented. I would definitely like to see more done with it.

message 37: by Melissa

Melissa Daniel Sunjata is deeelish so the fact that he got the role of Ranger is perfect!! The movie is never as good as the book so that was no surprise but still pretty good inspite of that! But I agree that a show from the books would be awesome!! Definitely a better choice of actors though. Most of the actors in the movie just didn't fit the characters from the books!
