Kerrie Over the years I've learned to stay away from novels where the setting/time period is something I know inside and out cuz the frustration is inevitable. That's why I no longer read any fiction that deals with silent movies because the errors and sloppy research totally piss me off.


Misfit Crap like this is inexcusable, the answer being a click away in this day and age.

Same here, although.....it doesn't stop me from still being suckered in again and again. :D Mary Loos' 2 books will be interesting, though, since she's Anita's niece. There MIGHT be some silent Hollywood goodness in those.
