Dillard is inspired. I have underlined and highlighted all over this book. Read if you love nature. Read if you haven't been around nature in a while. Read if you just want to slow down, and give life a serious look again. I only wish I had taken this book on a weekend trip camping or something instead of spreading it out over several months at my desk! For such a thin book, I found myself rereading parts of it over and over, and it was a bad idea to throw it into an environment where interruptions are plenty.
