Linda (Miss Greedybooks) But where is the tea (or G&T) that should be on the little table? The book may have fallen into the cushion, but these things are necessary - not just a cool place to nap!

Richard Reviles Censorship Always in All Ways I figure anyone who'd wear that shirt is already drunk and doesn't need more G&T.

Ya, good point. But what a lovely spot to read & dream!

Richard Reviles Censorship Always in All Ways Oh yeah. Yeah it is.

Jane I'd be worried about my drink sliding off the little table as I rocked contentedly.

message 41: by MrsJoseph (new)

MrsJoseph I need one of these in my life! I wonder how it would work suspended from a tree...

message 40: by Melki (new)

Melki I want mine INDOORS. Think of all the spiders that could be hiding in those pillows...

O_O

*shudder*

Ok, the table looks slick, I would drill a hole so the drink sets down in it & I could rock a bit!

Richard Reviles Censorship Always in All Ways I have non-slip coasters. Don't ask why.

Katy This looks super comfy, and I love the trees and plants. Of course, I would require a gardener, as I have a seriously brown thumb and would kill all the plants quickly... Heh.

And hey, at least spiders would keep away the mosquitoes and gnats!

Earwigs.

Mice.

Wasps' nests.

OK that last one was a bit unlikely.

Richard Reviles Censorship Always in All Ways Indoors, you mean, Jane?

message 30: by Jane (new)

Jane Actually I was thinking of outdoors, but earwigs get everywhere. The other night I felt something RUN down my arm, which was sticking out of the covers. I swatted at it and refused to turn on the light because I just didn't want to know.

message 29: by MrsJoseph (new)

MrsJoseph But think about the breeze gently fanning your face, drying the sweat caused by a great chase scene..

Richard Reviles Censorship Always in All Ways Mice are mostly indoors, too, Jane...plus bedbugs. *shudder*

Or, ummm, an unchaste scene.

Our mice are all in our gas grill. My husband hates having to evict the nice warm nest (sometimes complete with babies) every time he wants to char some hamburgers.

Awww, your husband sounds like a nice guy... I'd probably be the same way: "Oh, a nest of mice? With babies? Hmm, just go get another grill, or use the stove..."

message 23: by Jane (new)

Jane Um, no. He puts them into the undergrowth under the trees, which gives them a chance, I suppose, but he's not having any mice prevent him from using his grill.

We've had this problem for years, probably because the grill's a nice safe, warm place. Until we cook.

Karen Jacobs I saw something very similar made using a discarded trampoline bed. It looks like they used body pillows to create the "headboard" but I'm not sure what they used for the mattress. Even so if you bought a brand new trampoline and then purchased their mattress (if you could get the right size), by the time you added the supports etc. it would still come in WAY under $4K.
