Thalia’s Previous Updates

Thalia
Thalia is finished
Done. DONE. DONE. It was going to get two stars, but after that last stunt, it doesn't deserve any.

This is not acceptable or even tolerable. I'm so angry, I'm shaking. How dare you, treat a student suicide this way. This was a close friend of the characters, and they're not even reacting. It's insulting and it's treating a serious subject with such reckless abandon. To lose a friend, just knowing to suicide is bad enough. Having it happen in a school bathroom? That's inexcusable.

This is the page before they announce prom king and queen. And I solemnly swear, if it's Jake and Bethany, I will explode.

If my boyfriend had a broken leg on the night of prom, no way in heck I'd go with another guy. That's just asking for trouble.

Oh goodness, please don't tell me she's going to go with Jake. That'd just be stupid.

Does this whole half of the book center around prom? Is that really going to be the epicenter of the climax?

My problem with this book is that Adornetto has to explain every nitty gritty little detail. She tells everything and shows nothing, and focuses too much on the little things without looking at what's important. Don't tell me that a wildlife program is playing on the television, set up a plot that I want to be involved in that characters that I care about. Stop wasting time.
