Guys? Guys, I need help! Someone stole an old story of mine and is selling it. On Amazon. For money.

What's the name of the story and do you have any proof you wrote it, like previous publishings of it elsewhere?

It's this one:http://www.amazon.com/Sexual-King-Art...
And yes, I do:

I mean, I wrote it ages ago. Years.
It is definitely word for word. I recognized it the instant I started reading it. I can't even...right now I am so shocked and upset.
I'm so sorry Beth. Stephanie's right. I read about another author who did that and she got the book taken down.
It doesn't seem to be just one book. This 'author' appears to have stolen more than one story from Literotica. Is there a way to contact Amazon directly, outside of the book reviews?
I've reported it to Amazon as inappropriate. Hopefully they won't make me go through their copyright infringement rigamarole. If any of you guys have time, maybe you could report her too? I left a review to warn people but I have no idea what Amazon will do or how fast they'll do it.
Sandra wrote: "Beth - go here to report this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/reports"I've tried reporting it as a violation of Kindle TOS, but if I don't hear back soon, I'll report it there, too.
Ugh. I can't even see straight right now.
From an email I received from customer service (after I chatted with them):Hello,
I've forwarded the details you sent us to our investigations team.
We'd like to ask you to send a report to our investigations team about this. They deal with possible violations of our seller policies. Each report they receive is investigated and the appropriate action is taken. However, we won't be able to release the outcome of the investigation. Please go to the URL below and select "Report a violation of our rules" as the subject line:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/reports
Beth - I think you should report it to this link. And perhaps we can do the same.
What is wrong with people these days? If authors are not condescending toward his/hers audience and now this? Aren't there any people left with a conscience? Beth, I can see it might be difficult for Amazon to take down your work in the first place. If any people just told them someone stole their story, there probably wouldn't be many books on the site, however, maybe if we all send complaints to Amazon, they might be convinced that something is wrong. Just a thought. Also, I would gladly help.
I posted here.Someone wants to know if you're going to get any of the money this author made off your book.

I have absolutely no idea at this point. All I know is that tonight, I'm done. Stick a fork in me. --;
Kat wrote: "I'm so sorry you're going through this right now."Thanks, Kat. :) And I appreciate you getting the word out. People need to know this happens; who knows how many other plagiarized stories are being sold on Amazon right now.
saw your thread on AW. it's sad that someone would stoop to this level, but great that you're getting so much support.
Hello. I hope everyone who has had their work stolen by this "author" has had things fixed.I was recently told of this:
http://www.amazon.com/The-Magic-of-Ci...
Which is this:
http://www.literotica.com/s/magicgirls01
Amazon seems to have acted quickly. They really need to blacklist her.
Yeah, this is crap. My book community got wind of this earlier. I left a review indicating it was stolen.
What's also sad is writing communities like Absolute Write and Literotica often tell budding authors not to worry about their online posted works being stolen. While the odds prove their advice to usually be true--except for people like Beth and the other Literotica people who were ripped off--I'd hate to see writers unwilling to help newbies out of fear of plagiarism or writers unwilling to seek critique because of this. It's bad enough there are so many book pirates out there but at least they leave the author's name on the cover. The Robbin' Scott's of the world steal that too!
Patricia wrote: "I can't believe this sh-t. I wrote about it, too."I am definitely starting to feel like I got run over by a drama-llama stampede, that's for sure.
@Lila This isn't the first time my work has been stolen, just the first time it's been stolen and sold. I've been paranoid for years; this definitely didn't help. I don't blame writers for being twitchy.
