Vincent Darlage is on page 59 of 325 of Fists of Iron: Round 3 (The Collected Boxing Fiction of Robert E. Howard, #3)
Reread "Night of Battle," a fun little tale, but a little different than the previous Costigans with less emphasis on the fight.

Not bad. A.C. Crispin was always one of my favorite ST authors. I find the romance between Peter and Valdyr to be a little sudden and forced, but otherwise a pretty solid adventure so far...

Two discs in. Still kind of dry, but fascinating nonetheless.

I've never seen the movie, but the biography is interesting, but a little dry.

This is an excellent Perry Mason novel. The victim is not who I expected and it has been a thrilling ride so far.

No murder yet, but this has to be one of the best beginnings to a Perry Mason novel I've read in a long time!

Read a bunch of letters about Howard's death, including letters written by REH's father.

Read "The Warrior of the Final Dawn" by Garfield Reeves-Stevens, a fair story. Not great, but okay.

Read "I Now Pronounce You Superman and Wife," by Henry Slesar. An interesting plot that hinges on the villain knowing Superman's secret identity (not established in the narrative), but it was a fairly effective story.

Reread "Ye College Days" (weird), "Cupid vs. Pollux" (cute), "Musings of a Moron," "Sunday in a Small Town" and West is West," all comedies. Also reread "Knife, Bullet, and Noose," a Western, and a whole handful of poems.

An interesting case so far. Perry is defending a kind-of, sort-of embezzler - who has now been charged with murder! Oh no!

Read "Mudd's Passion," one of the lighter entries. It was nice to see Harry Mudd again, although I think Christine Chapel would have been court-martialed. I have also noticed, as I watch the cartoons after reading the episodes, that the stories are written much better than the cartoons themselves.

Read the mercifully short "Excerpt from the Diary of Dr. Morris Finkelstein," which was about Clark Kent getting a physical because he was drafted in WWII. It was wasted space and predictably cutsey.

Reread "The Heathen" and "The Thessalians." I thought the former the stronger humorous tale, as the latter was a little hard to follow. REH was a bit too vague with the latter, which harmed the intended humor.
