Dear Eragon: Kindly get off your high horse. You're making this novel incredibly difficult to finish.

The antagonist of my book is King Galbatorix. He is the ruler of the land of Alagesia, and was a former dragon rider until he betrayed the other riders and killed everyone who opposed him. He is a tyrant who will do anything to obtain more power. He opposes the main character because he tries to kill him so he can't overthrow him and take his power away.

The point of view is 3rd person, but the narrator knows how Eragon feels and sees. If the book was in 1st person, I don't believe it would be very different at all; besides Eragon being the narrator. What I know at the moment is that Roran must siege a city, but with a limited amount of soldiers. I don't know if he will succeed or how will accomplish the task.

However, there are some events that make this book realistic. For example, the fighting is using swords which has happened on earth but back a long time ago. Also, there are armies fighting for control of a land or region just in the revolutionary war for America. My book is mostly fantasy/unrealistic and some realistic. (Part 2)

My book is realsistic/unrealistic because it has many characteristics that make it mostly unrealistic. The events in my book so far are unrealistic and could never happen. It's like this because there are battles using magic and dragons shooting fire from their breath, also an evil king casting a spell on his soldiers so they don't feel pain. (Part 1)

Eragon and his dragon are attacking the city of Belatona with their army. They try to enter the city but, the stone holding the gate collapses onto Eragon's cousin. Eragon and other magicians lift the stone off his cousin. Once they do Eragon goes to find him. Then Eragon finds him under the stone. They enter the castle to find that the general surrendered. They then exchange the prisoners and go to bed.

I loved the entire series, and this book had to take the crown. I was on the edge of my seat during the action sequences that Christopher Paolini so delicaltly crafted. My mind was constantly racing wondering what's going to happen next. Plus, if you think you can predict anything other than the obvious in this book, chances are your wrong.

It's a little crazy how long it's taken this series to address plot points that were introduced in the first book. We've only met the main villain a few times, and explored the prophecy a little.

So far, the antagonist has been the misfortune that Eragon and Saphira face. The book starts off with them in battle, when Saphira is pierced in the chest a spear that goes straight throught the wards Eragon has placed, and is meant to kill dragons. Then, Roran is ready to enter a castle when the walls collapse on him, seemingly killing him. Eragon and Saphira handle the situation by perseverance.

My favorite character right now is the cat leaders. They are an unknown race that no one knows about. The leader is hard core but has a fun side to him. He can kill a man in seconds but can sit like a cat for hours

Not as keen on this book, probably as I read the others so quickly. Still interested to find out what happens. Murtagh and Thorn have suddenly appeared. I don't know Eragon and Saphira plan to not lose completely. And if they can't compete with them, what about the main villain?

I have been reading this series for the past year. This is the fourth book in the series and I am on page 11 out of 849. I had this series recommended to me by a friend in this class and have enjoyed it.
