I'm reading this in tandem with Malcolm Gladwell's book "The Tipping Point, and they seem to be perfectly suited for each other. I have reached two separate parts in both books that speak about conducting tests on their students at about the same time, and I have to admit it was pretty cool.

Chapter 15 - Beer and Free Lunches People's orders depend on appearance as well as desire, and there are mutually beneficial strategies that can take advantage of our irrationality to make a win-win situation.

Chapter 13 - The Context of Our Character, Part I A few interesting studies showing that people are more honest when primed with honest ideas (Ten Commandments, honor code), and without these they will cheat just a little.

Chapter 10 - The Effect of Expectations Long chapter with short message: our expectations shape our reality. We will experience events differently based on social cues and context which create expectations.

Chapter 9 - Keeping Doors Open Pretty weak chapter compared to the previous ones. Used anecdotes, fictional stories, and a study of size two to reach conclusions (likely correct) about our psychology. Yes, we like our options.
