Septentrion I'm challenging myself to the same number. We'll see if I make it. Good luck with your own challenge!

message 2: by Kribu (new)

Kribu Thank you and good luck to you, too!
I expect I shouldn't have problems, considering my final count for 2012, but I'd rather not stress myself and just take it easy.

Satis Good luck!

message 4: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine I'm going for 100, I think, but if I stay in the mood I've been in lately, it'll definitely be over that. We'll see. Good luck!

Kribu Thank you! Good luck to you, too.

I'm largely really doing it for an easy way to keep track of what I've read in a particular year, but it's also fun to have some kind of challenge - as long as the challenge is easily beatable; the last thing I want is to add stress to my leisure reading.

Jasmine Exactly. I saw the option just today to put up a challenge and that's partly why I did it too. Though if I don't make it, I don't. I'm also doing a list on my LJ though, too, which I used to do religiously but have slacked on the last few years. This should help me with that...

Helen Nice one for completing your goal! I had to lower my number to 90 because I knew I wasn't going to get 100. *shameful bow of head*

message 8: by Kribu (new)

Kribu Thanks! Of course if it wasn't for those ten Doctor Who short stories, I'd still be ten short...

... on the other hand, I've read LSODM twice (counted as one), TM7 twice (counted as one) and included a few rather big books (I think Great North Road, which is something like 1100 pages in hardback, was probably the biggest one), so I think it evens out well enough!

Septentrion W00t!

message 10: by Kribu (new)

Kribu Woot indeed! :D

message 11: by Ela (new)

Ela Congratulations! I'm in awe ;)

message 12: by Kribu (new)

Kribu Thanks! :D Not much to be in awe of ... I don't really do much else downtime-wise, other than reading.

message 13: by Ela (new)

Ela Yeah I know what you mean :D
