Good luck! 250 was my goal last year... I only hit 126. This year I'm aiming for 150.

Good luck to you!
Wow, kudos to both of you...I was only able to get to 65 this past year but I have two very young kids that take up a great deal of my time so maybe as they get older I will be able to read more!
I read way more now that my kids are older. I have 5 kids ages 6 to 17 and I read tons now. When they were little I was too tired most of the time.

Yeah, that nursing time was KEY to reading and when I only had one child I read ALL THE TIME. Now that there are two both under three, I am usually able to get in 20-30 pages per night and that's it. More on the weekends, but it never feels like enough!
I don't know how you do it. Last year I hit 157 or 158 but most of that was when my toddler was a nightmare to get to sleep, would take 2 hrs most nights but I could sit and read by torch light. Not so easy to find the time now.

I'm not sure how many i actually read last year - this is the first time i'm doing this so i thought i'd start with 100 since i've got a full year of study on this year (studing to be a librarian!) but very impressed with 250!

Fantastic! Achieving goals is always a wonderful thing. October 2004 - into 2005 I read 365 books. I do not know if I ever got them all recorded here at Goodreads. Not a goal I would set for myself in 2013. At the moment I do not know if I could do 8 books to create a 2012 challenge!

Seriously though - congrats!
