Adriana You didn't like A Wrinkle in Time? I thought that book was supposed to be great.

Lois It was interesting up to a point and then it just wasn't. I had to force myself to read the rest of it.

There are quite a lot of 'popular' books that I haven't liked... (To Kill a Mockingbird; A Clockwork Orange; Wuthering Heights)...
And I've found some truly fantastically written, brilliantly plotted books that should have a much higher 'classic' status than they currently do (The Prisoner of Zenda; The Tenant of Wildfell Hall; The Enchanted April).
