Care Good job! I am not going to make it. I wish I had set a smaller goal. NEXT YEAR I will say 50 books.

message 2: by Bybee (new)

Bybee Yeah, if you go smaller, then everything after that is gravy!

message 3: by Teri Pre (new)

Teri Pre I'm going to stick with 200 for next year with a mini-goal of 25 in January. I'm going to try to quit smoking and I never smoke when I read so it's possible!!

message 4: by Bybee (new)

Bybee I didn't know that about you regarding smoke/read.
200 sounds great.
I need a new goal. Can you help me arrive at a good number?

message 5: by Teri Pre (new)

Teri Pre Well, last you you just about made it to 100, right? And this year you're on 107? Why not make it 110...or 115 if you want to push yourself a bit?

It will be interesting to see if you read faster using the Kindle compared to the DTBs!

Are you working in January? Maybe you and I can make our own little "reading marathon"?

message 6: by Teri Pre (new)

Teri Pre Rats! I changed the first "you" to "year" TWICE!!!

message 7: by Bybee (new)

Bybee That's what I've been doing is pushing myself a little more each year. 110 or 115 sounds good.
Nope, not working in January, unless it's newspaper editing which is a cakewalk. so I'm on for a reading marathon!

Teri Pre So, what do you think? A 24 hour thing...or over 2 or 3 days?

message 9: by Bybee (new)

Bybee How much pain can you take???

message 10: by Teri Pre (new)

Teri Pre I've been mulling over 2 different answers to this and couldn't decide which was the best so you get both!

1) As much as you can dish out, baby!

2) Pain?? I thought reading was FUN??!!

Take your pick! :D

Bybee Let's go with the "over 2-3 days" thing. I think that in the long run, even with sleep, we'll get more accomplished. See you soon!
