I'm excited about this book because I love the movie High Fidelity (although, I love John Cusack so maybe that's why). I've just started the book though and am not that in to it... maybe it just needs a beach setting to compliment it!

REVIEW: So I finished this book tonight. Once I got in to it, I was much more IN TO it. It's a great retrospective on how music effects our every day lives and help us remember the times - good and bad. It's so true - like anything in pop culture (who knows where they were when OJ drove the white Bronco? I do!), music is a part of our lives. It's amazing how much so when you really think about it. I liked this, but not as much as Witch Child. I actually found myself wanting to get back to the Indian girl's story rather than Mary's. However, it was all still very interesting and kind of gave me closure after the abrupt end to Witch Child. For someone like me who really didn't read much my first time around, this is a great book. It reinforces that every pregnancy is different because every baby is different!! This is more of a collection of advice from other women rather than a guidebook like a lot of the first time preggo books. A much easier read - not as dry or textbook like. Love this book!! There were times when I had to force myself through the building of the fair parts, but I loved the story of the crazy doctor and his innocent female victims.
