My Mom sent me an autorgaphed copy of this book as an early bday present. Can't wait to dive into it tomorrow!

**I loved this novel. Truly a great pleasure to read. I loved that this book never went the way I expected it to. I loved the depth of each character and the complexity of their emotions/reactions. I loved the relationships between father and son, siblings, man and God. It was just an amazing journey of a book. Good, captivating, but a little predictable. So far not my favorite in the series. But I still can't put the darn thing down!

I really wanted to give this book four stars...so let's just go for 3.5 stars :)

This is the final chapter in the Bella/Edward series and it ties up all the loose ends. Now, normally I am the type that like happy endings and all the loose ends tied up for me so I don't have to worry about what happens to the characters once I close the book. However, I also appreciate a little excitement along the way and maybe even a few twists and turns in the plot.

I love the teenage angst and the sappy romance as much as the next Twilight fan...but this book just didn't do it for me. It was a fast and captivating book, but left me wanting more. More drama, more plot, more character development, more unexpected moments. Just more. Bella seemed very one dimensional in this book, as did Edward. Jacob's role was interesting, and I enjoyed hearing things from his perspective, even if it didn't fit particularly well with the book.

To the books credit I did read it all in one day and couldn't put it down. It sucks you in and keeps you reading. The biggest downside for me was that I closed the book and my first thought was "That's it?"
