I don't know how to adequately describe or critique this book. I felt very guilty 90% of the time that I was reading it. I also felt ridiculous to be putting myself in the shoes of a 17-year-old girl and too often envying her. I mean, it's just really ridiculous. However, I was handed the book yesterday and I'm finished with it now. i.e., I had a really good time reading it. And yeah, I'm properly embarrassed about how much fun I had, but gosh darn it -- it was fun.
I think, on a relative scale of the other books I've rated here, I'd have to give it a 3.5.. but on the fun, I'd have to give it a 4 and on the guilty-fun, it gets between a 4.5 and a 6. Grr.
