Most of the good Chinese that I know of in Columbus is at least a bit upscale.

Hunan Lion on Bethel Rd. is very good. I haven't been in a while, but China Dynasty on Lane Ave (in the shopping center between North Star and Northwest Blvd used to be pretty good.

Only good hole in the wall I can think of is near campus. Joy's Village on High St. Haven't been there in ages, but I found some good recent reviews for it.

Things are very spread out in Columbus; it sometimes takes some hunting around to find what you're looking for, but it's probably here somewhere.
