OK, so I've never been much of a makeup person, but now that I live in the slightly more formal South it seems that no one goes out without makeup on. Since one of the requirements of my dress code is that I not get mistaken for a student, I needed help looking a bit more professional.

I borrowed this book from the library. It's light on actual content, but the portion about the 5-minute daily makeup regimen is clear. The appendix even lists recommended brands and colors, and includes an expensive and cheap product for each item.

I think this book would benefit from the first half being removed. I guess that's the section in which the author establishes his cred, but really he just seemed like a pompous ass to me.
