The Aloo Gobi is great. Although trick it up with some chopped ginger, garlic & chili peppers to make it outstanding. This is a beautiful cookbook. The joy of the author (son-in-law) and the passion of the cook (the mother-in-law) is clear. Photos...more

Healthy fare! Really beautifully done. Although you will need to know just a little about Indian cooking to do these perfectly (no distinction of when to add various spices).

Great intro discussion to Indian cooking. But some of the recipes (I felt) did not come out as nice as other Indian cookbooks. Most are fairly bland if you follow her directions to the letter.
