I actually really enjoyed The Lost Symbol, but then again I seem to enjoy everything from Dan Brown. This book didn't include as much art analytics as The Da Vinci Code - but it did make me think and introduced me to different concepts regarding our country's forefathers and Noetic Sciences.
There were definitely some moments that caught me off-guard, which I really enjoy.
The ending, however, although not overly dramatic like Angels and Demons, got a little too deep for me. Trying to explain Noetic Sciences and how it proves certain truths was interesting enough - but I feel like some things went a bit unexplained.
All-in-all - I really enjoyed the book and had a great time reading it.

I liked learning about he Chicago Fair. But I was more interested in the Holmes story--which seemed so short. And several parts just dragged on for me and didn't get good until the very end.

I actually really liked this book. There is a lot of swearing and I do feel it has some holes in it - but it is a good murder mystery that can mess with your head a little bit. I enjoyed it.
