I love this writer. He creates a dark world, with dark characters that lure you in. He paints a picture of Madrid that makes you feel as if you are there. Not sure how I feel about this book, however when I read a ghost story part of the fun is the silent presence of the ghosy, the mystery of the story. This is an "in your face" ghost story that is at times very hard to swallow or maybe that was the point and I totally missed it.
