Smarter than your average (Bear) Americanised, over-the-top gorefest.
This sparse, beautifully filmed, actored & scored Movie really is a must see.
It certainly isn't as sweet & coming-of-age friendship story as it might seem at first glance,it is a completely chilling tale.

Best parts of the movie:
i) The Cast.
Some stellar work in picking out these actor/actresses
Giovanni Ribisi & Blanchett are awesome.
Kinnear, Reeves, Swank and Holmes all hold their own.
Even Reeves - Which is surprising to me, he isn't someone I'd cast in any movie.
& ii) The Score:
Christopher Young is at times Genius.

Can't say I love the film, but it's certainly worth a viewing for anyone who hasn't seen it.

I gave up on this book - even though I'd completed more than 75% of it.
The overly technical jargon bored me troughout the reading, I'd hoped for something - while still credible & factual - less intensive?
May re-read in future.
