Checked this out several months ago but didn't have much opportunity to read. I love the ideas behind it, written from a teacher's perspective in wanting to inspire children to read. Driving home from the library I had to read a few passages to Jamie that I found while glancing through. Just picked this up from the library and I'm totally impressed. Real food with loads of pictures. The pictures might be a drawback for some, but I like to see what I'm supposed to be making. Lots of info on her family and their cowboy lifestyle ("accidental ranch wife" because she was a city girl who fell in love with a cowboy), but I enjoyed that too. While I'm in the real world making dinner I could dream I live on a ranch with a bunch of wild horses roaming around.
