James's
review of William Shakespeare: The World As Stage (Eminent Lives):
"This is a delightful little romp through Elizabethan and Jacobean England. It’s witty, in typical Bryson style, and it’s filled with obscure facts about England during Shakespeare’s time. Sometimes you’ll just laugh out loud. Bryson uses ...more " | |||||||||||

I just checked on Amazon...There was an edition that came out April 30, 2008, but they don't carry it. A new edition that can be pre-ordered (with different cover) comes out July 8th...
I haven't seen it anywhere yet but I read about it in a monthly new book publication that's available at my local library.
Hi Sarah,
Thanks for adding me!
Looking for Anne sounds great...I'd never heard of it, but I've just added it to my to-read list.
