So far this is my favorite of the series. Everything is woven together in an intricate tapestry. It not only blends the opposing threads of the series together well, it makes you want to go and reread it from the beginning.

Quite possibly the best fiction book I have ever read that was set during World War 2.

I will echo that this is neither an easy read nor a quick one. But quite simply this book has characters that come to life from the page. No one is all good nor all bad.
