MUST HAVE FOR ALL MOMS! This book explains all the vaccines, why they are given, and what is in them. It also explains why parents do and do not give their baby each vaccine. It also gives an alternative schedule for vaccines. I really like this book because the author is not trying to persuade parents to alter their child's vaccine schedule rather he has put everything he knows about vaccines into one book! I do not own a copy of this book but I would really like one! This is a great book about raising children. The author is very honest about what has happened to her, her friends, and her patients, and she is not afraid to give her opinion. However, she stricks me as a liberal so if you're not into that this would not be a good book for you. I love this book! I think that title might have people questioning whether to pick it up but since I have little experience with newborns I found it extremely helpful. It has clearly labeled sections that made it really easy to find what I was looking for. I also felt that it focused on what moms to be really need to know and it was not designed just to scare them. I also felt that it was very easy to read and understand. I currently have the 3rd edition and I really like it. I like the format of the book because it is layed out in a manner where I can easily find what I am looking for and skip over what I consider to be all the scary issues involved in pregnancy...which I feel is all some books cover. However, I have looked at the latest edition and did not care for it as much. ]]>
