"We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars."
— Oscar Wilde (Lady Windermere's Fan (Penguin Popular Classics))
— Oscar Wilde (Lady Windermere's Fan (Penguin Popular Classics))
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

Glad you liked the CD... I found that I very much enjoyed yours and need to get my play by play posted! (I know I'm eagerly awaiting my own blather. ;)
Anyway, I saw this link posted somewhere with the heading "Why to always put the seat down."
Thought of you and your potential need for a wallpaper-sized version of that pic. ;D
Thanks! It was touch-and-go for a little while, but I stuck with it and made it through. It's definitely whet my appetite for some more DFW though.
Sally, I, Queen of the Library, am virtually knighting you. Hold still...
:::taps Sally with glowing sword of readerhood on both shoulders:::
I dub thee Dame Sally, Lady of the GoodReads realm. Go Forth and Read!
None, the blanked from what now is being called “the day of the underwear horror” went under a deep clean treatment =P and that on my face is my pillow
Ewww!!! You picture makes me want to post something like:” I Hate Underwear on My Friend List” on THC
The book you recommended , Loud Sparrows, arrived! Yay! But being in midst of a move, I've not yet had a chance to begin it, alas...
