This book is soo good!
I finished it on the same day i bought it ^^
The title might give u the idea that this book is boring and just like the other cliche princess tales, but its not!
This book is worth reading (and not just for girls, boys can read it too coz its not a lovey-dovey kind of story)

I'll skip the synopsis part, u can read it urself above..
i'm just telling u why i like the story, ok so i like this one especially because:
First, Miri, the "princess" is not acting like a damsel in distress, just waiting for her prince to escort her to his white castle!

Second, she is brave and smart!!
She might not be strong like Frid but with her brain and bravery she can take down the fearsome bandits and the "cold hearted" academy teacher. Miri also teaches the readers to listen to their heart, to search deep down inside what is their real dreams

and last, the ending is not so predictable. u'll find a little surprise in the end (ok, u may have predicted it from early on the start like me, but still its not so obvious hehe..)

They who like Ella Enchanted and The Enchanted Forest Chronicles might like this one too

Now i just wish to read more of Shannon Hale's works..
