Nophoto-m-50x66 Heh. I've many moar higher reading priorities on my list so we'll see. Tried out Bleak House during high school and couldn't get through it before the volume had to be returned. Thanks for reminding me to make a mental note to revisit it.

I noticed the Poe volume you just tagged as owning -- or put on your shelf, however that works on the internets? -- has a publishing date of 1966. The one I own is from 1983, including a complete-as-possible, 10-scene manuscript of Politan. Just in case you'd want to track that down. I tried but couldn't find any texts of the 10-scene version online. :\ Guess I could even direct you to a somewhat complete version and then type up the remainder if you want. Just say the word.

Nophoto-m-50x66 He expressed his dissatisfaction with the Oprah insignia being printed on his book by saying, "I see this as my book, my creation, and I didn't want that logo of corporate ownership on it."

On Monday, she announced, "Jonathan Franzen will not be on the Oprah Winfrey show because he is seemingly uncomfortable and conflicted about being chosen as a book club selection. It is never my intention to make anyone uncomfortable or cause anyone conflict. We have decided to skip the dinner and we're moving on to the next book."

They still discussed The Corrections without him, though.
