I really liked this book. It was pretty fast moving. It is definitely a kids book, on par with the Dianna Winn Jones books. But it is also a good fun read.

So details on what the book is. A kid who does not know anything about his past runs away from...more

The book is very slow starting and kind of hard to get into. But after the first 90 pages it is a good story. I think she is pretty good at writing the teenager roles.

The world Paolini has created is kind of depressing, almost like it is not worth saving. The elf world in his books is nice though. Perhaps the evil influence of the king is what makes the world so bad. Eragon is stupid in this book. You want him to...more

Great continuation from the last book. Seth is still a little dumb but he is getting better. I like the character growth that happens here. The world of Fablehaven is cool because it is so big. There is always some new place you can go in the preserv...more

This book was a good start to the Fablehaven books. Seth drove me nuts though. He is a really dumb little kid in this book. Don't worry he gets better in the next books.

This series satisfies my needs for a different world to climb into at night. It i...more

This book reminded me why I wanted to keep reading the series. When I finished the book I was sad because it was over. I wanted more to read. I spent the last year of my life reading these books. I need a new world to climb into and hide in. I am ver...more

Finally the story starts to get good again. I like the development of Matt. Rand seems to be going more and more nuts. I wish he weren't becoming so stupid. The Aes Sedai following Egwene are having a good story too. This book brings back a lot of th...more

This book was less than satisfying. Perrin was my favorite character until he became fixated on saving Faile from the Aiel. The story seems to progress less in this book. But you have to read it to get to book 10 which is good.

Book 8 is still really good I have to change my review to give it 4 stars. There is not really much to summarize in this book. It is just the continuing story to until the end of the world.

Once again, it is better when read soon after all the other books. I must say though, Rand is getting dumber with every book. Sure he is king (or close enough to it) of four major countries, but he doesn't think very much. He is much too anxious to g...more
