FULMORE FALCONS--you are invited to use this discussion group to present your point of view on this exciting issue. Retire The Penny, or Keep The Penny? Shout it out here.
Here are the guidelines for responding. Please present no more than one paragraph (8-10 sentences) as your response.
Your paragraph should have:
* a topic sentence
* at least two main points (your reasons for or against the penny) supported with RENNS (Reasons, Examples, Names, Numbers, Senses)
* a concluding sentence
* If you are in my 5-7th periods, you are required to submit a brainstorm and a rough draft of your paragraph. This is due on Monday, April 14th. As a reminder for a few of you in my classes, the brainstorm and the rough draft are actually written before you post anything to this site. I want my students to post arguments that have some revise and edit work behind them.
