I like your taste. I'm currently reading a book called "White Noise" by Tom DeLillo. It's a satire on American consumerism, in the vein of Chuck Palahniuk, (author of Fight Club), and is beautifully written. I also started "The Witching Hour" , by you know who. I'm about 100 pages in and already love it as much as her vampire chronicles.
