This was an interesting one for me. If I hadn't first met a diaper-free baby, I don't think I would have believed it. :-) We wanted to try EC with Belen and the hospital trip ended that pretty quick, but I was just too tired to be serious with Lu. Although, even small things add up. She's now 18 m and has asked to go on the potty. She knows when she pees and she just might be my earliest potty learner... :-)

Loved this. Totally not the same author as the original and only time will tell how timeless it is. However, great, fast-paced story that I"m sure my son will love. I enjoyed hearing someone's take on the creation of Hook, Peter, Tink and the rest. It was a well-spun yarn. :-)

This was written with very much the same tone as "the Little Prince" which I loved. It would have been great as a read-aloud book.Classic story with timeless adventure. No wonder it is still a favorite. Of course, the artowrk is grand. It is definitely not what I have in my mind's eye as the picture of what Peter and Wendy and the Lost Boys look like, but beautiful art in its own right.

This is definitely one of my faves. Not sure that there are any deeper meanings. Other than, I read in a biography once that Carroll was trying to explain "his world" to children. He had been left-handed and then "switched" rather young. that along with the drugs du jour meant that "his world" was rather psychadelic. I think I love it more from what it says about the author more than anything. :-)
