I agree. I've not only read the book, but I met Robert at a conference this summer (my daughter also has Polymicrogyria), and I think, Holly, that your take on the book and his story is way off base. I suppose to someone who hasn't been through it, it could sound like whining, but I have, and I know better. And you are spot on, Amber. Maintaining a marriage in the face of all of this is unimaginably difficult. I know it's a daily struggle for me.
