Good--sometimes great--but admittedly not my favorite Nabokov. Sometimes--and I'll eventually read it again to make sure it's not just me--it felt more like Nabokov practicing Nabokov. Still, very much worth a read.

Unique style but that's why I return to her (this was the third novel of hers I read). A challenging read but I enjoy the challenge. Is it prose or poetry? Why even draw the distinction?

Read it some while ago (in the past year or so). One of his best in my opinion. I enjoyed the whole thing but Cezanne's Mountain, a la Handke, was especially nice.

A short but satisfying read. Handke is Handke, I suppose, but in general I like his earlier work. I read this little book while I was in Vancouver this summer.
