easy-to-read wording; my wife has the New International Version NIV but there have been some times this Bible's wording was a bit more understandable.
I would recommend a new method of Bible reading - Professor Horners Bible Reading System (http://thelawmanchronicles.blogspot.com/...) - odd long name but give it a try....

A collection of distinct essays; many in particular were very engrossing including Reader in Exile, Scavenging, First City, and My Father's Brain - all resonating with me in very specific and similar situations.
This is a polar opposite to any book I've read until now; a totally-random pull from the library shelves since I couldn't think of any particular book/author the few minutes before we left ... highly recommend even if I don't get it 5 stars for provoking thoughts on matters worth of being thought about.
