I really enjoyed this book. I wondered what had happened to Diane after she divorced her abusive husband. While many of the other reviewers gave this a low rating, I thought this was a fantastic quick read. The characters were fleshed out and believable. I really like almost all of this book. The one thing I don't like is when Abigail lies to her friends and calls it pretending, and her mother goes along with it!<i/>

Jake calls her on it though, and I was appreciative of that. The first grader knows the truth!
